License code instructions for SpamSentinel for Domino

Starting with Version 12, the SpamSentinel Administration database has been updated to perform as a license code distribution point for all your SpamSentinel for Domino, Inbox Genius, Verisend and Positive Identity installations.

1.  Open the SpamSentinel Admin database (located in the SpamSentinel sub-folder under the Domino data folder)

2.  Click the blue text that says 'Open Server Configuration'

3. In the Server Configuration document do the following:

a. If the previous codes were EXPIRED you will have to first re-enable SpamSentinel.

in the field General Message Handling please select PROCESS ALL MAIL (see #1)

b.  Update the field named 'SpamSentinel / Inbox Genius License Code' (see #2)
Copy and paste the SpamSentinel License Code sent to you into this field

c.  Update the field named 'Anti-Virus & Macro Handling License Code' (see #3)
Copy and paste the AV License Code sent to you into this field

d.  Update the field named 'Verisend / Positive Identity License' (see #4)
Copy and paste the Verisend License Code sent to you into this field

e.  If you have installed SpamSentinel products on servers not displayed in the field 'Domino Servers with Maysoft Products' you should add those server to the configuration document (see #5) before saving.

f.  Save and close the document

If MBE or other servers running SpamSentinel are reachable when you update the SpamSentinel license it will ask you to update the other codes automatically, choose yes.

The updated licenses will take effect almost immediately and there is no need to restart the Domino server(s).
