Problem
Not all new users can be trusted to make good decisions when handling Spam in the Quarantine database so they should not receive Spam Reports until the Administrators are sure they are better trained.
Background Information
The SpamSentinel Reporting system doesn't create new User Report configuration documents until after the first piece of Spam has been quarantined for a user. Default settings for newly created User Reports can be set globally.
Solution
Update the configuration to create the user reports as 'Disabled' so they do not run and then go in and enable the users required.
1. Open the SpamSentinel Reporting database and edit the document '1. Create Recipient Spam Reports' in the Administrative Reports view.
2. Click on the "Settings for Each End User Report" tab. In the formula section, add this line then save and close the document.
Field ActiveStatus:="Disabled";
3. Once new user reports have been generated, you can go to the User Reports view and select just the reports for users that should be run then enabling them using the View action button:
Change Settings on Selected Reports / Enable Reports
